Baseball is a team sport, so bring your team to see our team!
"Baseball is the same in virtually every ballpark in America: 9 innings to a game, 90 feet between the bases, 3 strikes and you're out. But the experience of watching a game can change dramatically - especially when your ballpark is next to a perpetual carnival. Along Surf Avenue in Coney Island is the Brooklyn Cyclones, a Minor League Baseball team playing here our of MCU Park since 2001. The team is affiliated with the New York Mets, but the game is unlike anything you'd see at Citi Field or anywhere else in the majors...it's a three hour, outdoor party."
Josh Sanburn, TIME Magazine - October 21, 2013
"MCU Park - Most Fun Ballpark in: There are simply too many contenders to list. A day trip to Coney Island just about trumps the lot, however. So rid the Cyclone, wolf down a hot dog then take your seat at MCU Park to cheer on the Brooklyn Cyclones. With stunning Atlantic vistas and landmarks like the Parachute Jump and the Wonder Wheel looming in the background, this place will score a home with all the family."
Fox News - August, 2012
While Maimonides Park is the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, the ballpark is more than just baseball. In 2022 the venue hosted over 200 events ranging from graduations to high school football. From sneaker conventions to the Brooklyn Half Marathon. And just about anything else you can think of. The ballpark has also hosted NY Cosmos Soccer, Rugby New York, FDNY vs. NYPD Baseball and countless other events over the years.
The ballpark has also hosted musical performances including Mumford & Son, Drake, Daft Punk, Beck, Snoop Dogg, Def Leppard and The White Stripes.
The Cyclones can also work with you to reach a specific target market through non-traditional events.
The Cyclones recently won MiLB's Promotion of the Year award for "Ambush Baseball." The team partnered with two sponsors looking to target parents around Father's Day.
The planning and execution of the event was recorded and released on-line as part of a viral campaign that garnered national attention.
The Cyclones celebrated the 25th Anniversary of "The Show About Nothing" with perhaps the biggest promotion in franchise history.
